Climbing Tree w/Digging Box From a garden store - $25.00 RattyRat's Review: This toy makes a wonderful digging box. However, it doesn't work very well as a climbing toy. To make this toy we bought one of those fake trees that people decorate their houses with, and we put it into a giant pot. Then we filled the pot with plain "top soil" dirt (make sure you use plain dirt with no fertilizers added.) Unfortunately the tree must have been too difficult for our rats to climb, as they only tried to venture up it a couple times, however they loved trying to dig out the bottom of the tree from the dirt. It made a fantastic digging box! Rat's love digging if you give them something to dig for. Such as uncovering the hidden part of a tree.
