RattyRat's Review: This is far and away the best device to keep your rats' food in. It keeps your rats' food clean and off the ground. Rat's can't urinate on the food because of this basket's solid flip top lid. This basket is too big for your rats to try and burry. Best of all, it prevents rats from stashing their food. A huge bonus!! The biggest problem with feeding rats is that they stash all their food. They will completely empty out a food bowl and hide all their food elsewhere, where it then gets buried and peed on. This food basket is easy to hang on the cage bars, easy to clean due to it's powder coating, easy to fill with it's convenient flip top lid. Plus it gave the rats some enrichment by making them puzzle on how to chew their food out. We LOVE these baskets. This basket was the best thing we ever bought for our rats and the smartest product ever produced for rats. And of course, they stopped making them.
