However, we do not condone any one that breeds their rats just for the fun of it, or to show their kids the miracle of birth, or for whatever other reason. If you really want to experience raising baby rats, offer to foster rats from the humane society. They frequently get pregnant females. This being said, sometimes people have accidental litters, either by unknowingly adopting a pregnant female, or through other accidental means.
